OOMDO LLC in Albany, New York, USA

• Mostly given storyboard or series of mock-up screens and business rules. I plan and design the Database structure, then codes all screens and APIs needed. I solely coded the HALO web app (https://www.halorangesolutions.com ), an admin website that provides the clients the ability to manage and control their front-end website, accessed by their customers (examples: American Firearms Training Academy and Live Free Armory ). For the front-end web site, starting from a static web template, I coded all API integration part that populates the store as well as enabling bookings and ordering transactions of their customers. HALO has user authorization, level of user permissions, scheduling of classes, instructors and facility (class-based front-ends) and has product inventory entry (for retail front-ends). It has also integration to other third-parties like Authorized.net and Shippo.
• I also upgraded their existing CORE job ticketing system, customizing it based on their request and need as illustrated in the mock-ups. Core handles and shows progress of the job orders as they move around to each employees accomplishing the task assigned to them. It is complete with dependency setting, so an employee will not see their job task unless it is ready to work on.  Department heads can see the task list of all employees under them and can reassign or cancel job orders. Admin has reports showing how long it took everyone to finish their work, who has the most workload or what task causes the delay. They also manage their clients’ information and artworks. I adjusted the database to handle all new features. 
• OOMDO is also managing client websites that uses content managing websites like DealerOn. They are asked to post ads and special promotions that depends on the search text a user entered.  I built a utility suite that generates JavaScript and html files, then we hot-link them in the OOMDO server. I also created an eblast email builder with html sections as widgets that they can add or skip.  If it has images, a user has an interface to upload and enter contents and post without the need for a developer. An account manager can create the eblast, just by clicking buttons.

Application Developer

Capital District Physicians Health Plan (CDPHP) in Albany, New York, USA

Started as a consultant eventually hired as direct employee; worked as part of the department that maintains and configures health insurance products; providing resources that helps sales marketing; and generates documents of customer’s benefits and coverage. Maintained and greatly improved their intranet applications, Benefit Viewer and Product Builder, that helps their marketing representatives in selling insurance products. The applications use MS SQL database with front-end in C# .Net and calls Java Soap Web Services.

• Created Java Soap Web services for intranet application and also for use in other company applications and batch processes
• Created PDF reports in Java like “Summary of Benefits and Coverage” and “Benefit Summary” that is sent to customers.
• Created MuleSoft integration of the Java Web Services WSDLs to other application through RESTful URLs.
• Created and maintained Java web services that uses business rules (OpenRules) to mass create products.

• Noteworthy’s Icebird ERP – The Noteworthy Company’s ERP system that is a customization of an open-source ERP system called Opentaps.  The system is developed using Apache OfBiz framework and J2EE 1.5 with PostgreSQL for ddatabase.  Uses Freemarker and Dojo toolkit for user interface, deployed in Tomcat server.
  • Responsible for customization of the open-source system to best serve the Noteworthy’s operation.  This includes extending and overriding original modules, change of functionalities and creation of new screens, reports and other notifications and forms.
  • Integrated Icebird ERP to cloud services Noteworthy subscribes to like Google, Zendesk ( http://www.zendesk.com) and Amazon Simple Storage Service ( http://aws.amazon.com/s3/ ).  Also created the API class library for integration to all of the company's online stores.
• Noteworthy's online store – Sticker Mule ( www.stickermule.com/ ), the store were created by customizing an open source e-commerce application ( spreecommerce.org/) using Ruby on Rails. Created, modified screens and features based on mockup screens provided by the designer using HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX and JQuery. This is integrated to Icebird ERP above thru API as well as to modern cloud services like Mail Chimp, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Amazon S3, TypeKit and many more as needed.  Extended, modified store features and screens to aid Noteworthy-specific processes and management administration. Modified the database accordingly.

Global eXchange Services (GXS) in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines

• Royal Bank of Canada Overdrive – This is an Automotive Financing System that handles transactions between RBC bank and Automotive dealerships.  This application was rewritten using new technologies (Spring, Hibernate, Java1.5) with the database restructured. 
  • Identified and corrected miscellaneous defects across the technology platform. Modified existing database packages to adapt the new design structure.
  • Managed the end-to-end report generation process: ensured requests were submitted via the UI interface, the appropriate taskbeans were identified, the scheduler was properly invoked, requests are picked-up and the proper delegate to execute the report generation process were called.
  • Established and implemented the scheduler (Jobserver by GrandLogic) to properly execute jobs and create appropriate taskbeans (TBA).  Conducted server level testing on the capabilities of the scheduler; ensured server stability, and then deployed the application to the official server.
  • Created complete configuration setup guide documentation and technical report specification documents that were used by other developers to properly implement functional reporting requirements. 
• Peugeot Citroen Automobiles Tracking System Tool – This is a tool that bridges Peugeot system and Web-reports Reporting Application using Java Messaging Service.
  • Coded a tool that listens to different events from Peugeot System traffic and automatically feeds the information to the database making it available to Webreports.  A primary JMS message consumer parses XML formatted data and saves the information to the database.
• Yellow Pages Association 
  • Directory On-line – This application allows viewing for both publishers and certified marketing representatives (CMR) to tear page library on the web.  The application allows searches that combine multiple keywords and on-line display of selected directory pages in PDF format.
  • E-billing – This application automates the billing to publishers that send their ads or tear pages to publishing certified marketing representatives. 
    • Initially, served as the sole developer responsible for the client change orders of YPA Directory on-line; eventually became the lead developer responsible for the work of two additional developers.  Worked on major change requests using JSDK 1.4, JSP, Oracle 10g Database, GXS proprietary framework, and BEA Weblogic web server communicating directly to GXS NJ counter parts.
    • Served as production support for YPA E-Billing application.
    • Traveled to Global eXchange Services, Denville, NJ 07834 to serve as a key resource for the YPA E-Billing automation initiative.  Developed back-end validation of invoice, remittance, and summary statement in PL/SQL Oracle10g Database.  Researched and implemented a new approach of indexing for Yellow Pages online search using Oracle Text.  Coded several java classes for sending reminder notices and memos
    • Developed UNIX shell scripts for housekeeping purposes that are called on regular basis by UNIX CRON.
